I started a medical transcription business in the Greater Boston area and grew the company to ten employees and a gross income of $800,000 annual receivables. My greatest strength was my ability to lead my team to very high standards in the industry. My clients included Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Massachusetts General Hospital, and group practices throughout the Greater Boston area. I turned the business over to four employees when I relocated to Connecticut. The business continued to operate for a few years but eventually closed mostly due to not keeping up with the voice recognition technology. While in Connecticut, I have worked as a medical transcriptionist for quite a few years but the department outsources all of us to a company located in India. It was around that time that I worked in my home as a transcriptionist and eventually transitioned to a gardening career.
I have been an active tennis player and while in college was my university's MVP I still play on a regular basis recreationally
