Adept at strategic planning and relationship building, I have spearheaded initiatives at Morningstar Living that significantly enhanced community engagement and resident satisfaction. Leveraging skills in team management and budget management, I led cross-functional teams to exceed goals, achieving a notable increase in participant well-being through innovative, tailored activities.
Helped to create and maintain not only an activity program for people with dementia but an environment where people with dementia thrive.
Also assisted to design and provide the educational piece of a program called the "NET" program (Neurocognitive Engagement Therapy) which was a program at Phoebe that was published by which therapy staff treating residents on short term rehab neighborhoods with dementia would learn how to reach their residents utilizing Montessori methods and person centered care.
Have had several positive advertisement opportunities for activity programming both at Phoebe and Morningstar through WFMZ and the Morning Call.
I have successfully completed many workshop/in-services including the Hearthstone Institute's course on Montessori-based Activities for Persons with Dementia.
In addition to completing these sessions, I have spoken at the Annual PAPA conference, the Phoebe Institute on Aging event, and the Lehigh Carbon Community College's Annual COTA conference - to name a few.
