It is my pleasure to advocate for Pam Kopishke for a position as public-school library
teacher . I've had the pleasure of working with Pam Kopishke at Ritter Elementary
School for the past 8 years as a principal and 10 years as her colleague.
As a Librarian, Mrs. Kopishke possesses the ability to connect with elementary children.
With a firm but friendly demeanor, Mrs. Kopishke exhibits a good rapport with her
students. This enables her to present skills and concepts at all levels and differentiate
appropriately. Mrs. Kopishke has good written and verbal skills. Mrs. Kopishke is
organized and plans standards-based lessons, integrating core curriculum whenever
possible.
Mrs. Kopishke' s knowledge of books creates a love of reading environment for all her
students. Mrs. Kopishke brings out the excitement in students during book selection and
in her read aloud sessions. In addition to her busy schedule, Mrs. Kopishke assists with
Library Club, technology and after school clubs.
Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I recommend Pam Kopishke for a Librarian
position in your school district or business. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Kopishke has been our Librarian since October of 1988
During this time, she has run the entire library on her own and always
performed up and beyond our expectations
Since she began, children's
programs tripled in size and summer reading clubs for children
quadrupled from the size required for the program
Winter story hour
expanded to two per week under her direction
Pam brought us into the computer age and began the circulation
program used throughout the library
Working from a government grant,
she is currently purchasing a more advanced system that will be in
place soon
One of her main jobs is to hire and train a large
volunteers and paid employees, including supervision of staff of employees and keeping in touch with the night time workers to be sure they are abreast of the
policies
She reported needs, bills, also keeps track of all books, over-dues and donations and
monthly to the Board of Trustees about library activities
Financially, she keeps records of gifts she secures, incoming monies
Pam's public relations have always been excellent
The library
has never had so much good publicity and good relations with the
townspeople
Her suggestions for fund-raisers have always been
helpful to the Friends group and the Board of Trustees
We at the Bangor Public Library would highly recommend her for any
job she might undertake
She is quite capable to succeed in any
endeavor
Sincerely
Kathy Bramble, President
