  • Manage the eligibility and licensing activities for intern/residents/fellows, Osteopathic, Podiatry, restricted volunteer licenses, exemptions from license and reinstatements. I license each year at least 2,000 or more of medical applicants between March and July every year when the doctors complete medical school and are ready to enter their Intern/resident programs. During this time I also manage the Osteopathic, Podiatry, restricted volunteer applications to make sure they are processed in a timely manner. Identify and apply established regulations necessary to analyze licensing processes, and ensure that all correspondence is properly prepared and disseminated. I review the agency performance measurement reports on at least a quarterly basis, providing immediate supervisor with certification of review.
    I work collaboratively with agency management to achieve performance measures set forth by the Administration and Agency Director. Responds to the needs of customers in a courteous, accurate and timely manner and promotes good customer relations to those internal and external to the operations of the agency.
    Provides the public with correct information, utilizing available resources and working collaboratively with peers and management when questions are posed that require research and/or evaluation of regulation or policy.
    I Creates promote and maintain a positive and productive work environment through effective communication among agency staff and management.
    Notifies immediate supervisor of issues and ensures that supervisor is aware of sensitive or extraordinary issues which may impact the cost center or agency. I pride myself with the ability to work as a team member with limited supervision while handling multiple tasks; with strong attention to detail.
