Managed programs to ensure the successful implementation of program initiatives as contracted staff.

Supervised multiple onsite programs: COVID/ISAQ, PEP-V, Infectious Disease/Mpox, Respite, and the now-established Migrant Services program during the initial inception phase. Served as Demobilization Manager during the opening and closing of DHS site properties. On-site daily assistance with the Hypothermia Program in a shared space with PEP-V, as a DHS program Site Manager.

  • Collaborated in a daily huddle with contracted program support services to include Unity Healthcare medical, MBI behavioral health, Hypothermia staff, case managers, housing managers, facility stakeholders, contracted food service vendors, and contracted cleaning service vendors, to ensure the successful implementation of program initiatives.
  • Prioritized tasks and managed teams throughout multiple projects.
  • Completed thorough opening, closing, and shift change functions to maintain operational standards each day, with written and verbal communication with the shift change site manager.
  • Maintain that all on-site daily operational supplies are in stock, with inventory to match staff and consumers' needs.
  • Weekly electronic TEAMS meeting with program senior management, program hotline personnel, the medical services director, and migrant services. Meeting agenda focusing on the quantity of program(s) consumers currently on-site, availability of space for additional consumers, discharged consumers who completed CDC quarantine guidelines/ISAQ, MPox, programs, new intake arrivals/Migrant Services, and consumers who transitioned out of the program for permanent housing/PEP-V.
  • Generated written program reports, including UIR/incident reports, daily end-of-shift reports, and QuickBase consumer updates. Also, all email correspondence with upper management, stakeholders, vendors, maintenance, the medical team, and transportation.
  • Established and maintained relationships with vendors and external partners to support program objectives and services provided by monitoring their performance for deficiencies against agreed-upon contractual terms.
  • Facilitated change management processes, supporting the organization and stakeholders through program transitions to include a walkthrough inspection of new property for program consumer expansion, as well as a walkthrough for the closing of a site with demobilization.
  • Remained calm and professional in stressful circumstances, and effectively diffused tense situations. Example: consumer medical emergencies, consumer conflict resolution, consumer or support staff disciplinary infractions, evacuation of the site, and receiving/transport of a large number of consumers pending the opening or closing of the site.
  • Scheduled maintenance tasks and ensured all equipment was functioning properly.
  • POC for onsite contracted security staff. Reporting all issues to the DHS head of security when deemed necessary.
  • Performed inspections of the facility on a regular basis to ensure security measures were followed.
