I grew up in an agricultural family in Elkins. My family trains horses and raise cattle I know the meaning of hard work. Growing up in that environment allowed me to learn many skills, like how to run tractors and equipment and repair things(sometimes with limited resources).
My first business was a lawn care business that my friend Sloan Jones and I started our sophomore year in high school. We marketed by distributing fliers in neighborhoods around Fayetteville. Through hard work, and word of mouth from satisfied people, our business quickly expanded to over 20 regular customers that includes both residential and commercial spaces.
The next summer I started working for Majestic Custom Homes as a laborer. I'm getting to see the steps from start to finish in residential construction and I really enjoy it. My first project was a set of townhouses on the campus of the U of A. I'm excited to be attending NWACC and pursuing a degree in Construction Technology.
