During the winter I keep the 4-wheelers side by sides and vehicles we don't use in the winter running. Help load trucks with hay or equipment. Maintain them by changing tires, checking oil and water and helping repair when needed,

These are the things I help with on our hay farm.

Help service and maintain big bale balers, swathers, rakes and any other equipment we run on our farm.

I also operate the big balers, swathers and rakes. When operating the big baler if it breaks down while operating in the field if it isn't major I can usually fix it.

I change out the knives and other parts on the header that have wear on them daily during harvest.

I change out the rake teeth rake wheels tires and grease the rakes.

I can run the JCB loader pretty well.

I drive the semis on our farm. Either in the field loading them or driving to the hay stack to load them.

Checking circles changing tires, drive lines, gear boxes repairing sprinklers and getting them unstuck is also part of my job.

I fixed fence and helped push cattle.

I unloaded items that customers brought in. We had to determine which items we could accept. Some customers got mad when we couldn't accept items so I learned a lot on how to deal with them. I also helped keep the area clean. I was called in a lot when other workers didn't show up. They were pretty sad when I gave them my 2 weeks notice so I could serve my service mission.
