For over 5 years I have been a first responder, working in EMS and law enforcement professions. Working in public safety has made me an objective-oriented, critical thinker. I am passionate about keeping my fellow community members safe and making the community a better place. Given my background, I have a unique perspective and skill set that I apply to whatever task I am faced with. Working in various challenging and high stress fields in public safety, has allowed me to apply the expert training I have received in a real-world setting. In my short career, I have worked in several different teaching and leadership roles. These opportunities have helped me develop a better understanding of the dynamics that make a strong leader. I know how to work in a team setting, from having productive relationships with my coworkers, and supervisors, as well as working closely with local fire and law enforcement agencies. -While working for American Medical Response, I had the opportunity to apply my skills as an emergency medical technician, in a real-world application. Working for AMR, I was challenged every day, as I was faced with critical life and death situations. I have used these critical situations to make myself an objective-focused, and mission-oriented thinker while working under pressure. I have benefited from continuing to educate myself and perfect my skills while working at AMR. I worked as a field training officer (FTO), teaching new employees lessons that I learned on the job, passing on my experience and knowledge. I enjoyed working in a team environment with my partners, local fire departments, and local law enforcement agencies. Working in EMS has taught me how to think critically, as well as how to work well in a team environment.

Working on the sales floor, I had been given the opportunity to learn how to easily communicate with all types of customers, and educate them on our product. The responsibility, and trust that Buell had granted me has given me great experience as to what it means to be a successful employee and leader.

The knowledge I gained from working with true business professionals, was invaluable.
