-While working for American Medical Response, I had the opportunity to apply my skills as an emergency medical technician, in a real-world application. Working for AMR, I was challenged every day, as I was faced with critical life and death situations. I have used these critical situations to make myself an objective-focused, and mission-oriented thinker while working under pressure. I have benefited from continuing to educate myself and perfect my skills while working at AMR. I worked as a field training officer (FTO), teaching new employees lessons that I learned on the job, passing on my experience and knowledge. I enjoyed working in a team environment with my partners, local fire departments, and local law enforcement agencies. Working in EMS has taught me how to think critically, as well as how to work well in a team environment.

-Working at Central Coast Ambulance has given me confidence working with patients, in various conditions, and with different needs. I have learned to be competent in performing the skills within my scope of practice, under pressure, and while working in the back of an ambulance. I have been able to fine tune my medical skills, my bedside manner, my ambulance driving, and my report writing, while working with CCA.

-Working at Buell was an educational and positive experience. It has given me insight as to what it takes to successfully work with others on a day to day basis to reach objectives as a team. Working on the sales floor, I had been given the opportunity to learn how to easily communicate with all types of customers, and educate them on our product. The responsibility, and trust that Buell had granted me has given me great experience as to what it means to be a successful employee and leader.

-I was fortunate to work for Yogartland. I learned first-hand how to conduct myself and work with corporate management to accomplish my job. I had the opportunity to learn how to manage a large group of people in a fashion in which I could assert myself as a leader, while also maintaining a close relationship with the team that I was supporting. The knowledge I gained from working with true business professionals, was invaluable.
