Background
I specialize in Grant Management, specifically in Emergency Management. Three large engagements I have worked on are Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), Texas Department of Housing Community Affairs (TDHCA ERAP) and Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency providing oversight and monitoring for covid related funding. I have been helping states and local governments with Compliance and Monitoring efforts surrounding testing projects and conducting compliance reviews for projects written by FEMA heavily consists of procurement, Force Account Labor, Contracts and assisting applicants with State and Federal regulations 2CFR and PAAPG. I have also served as a client liaison serving as Recovery Officer and coordinate with the PDMG for Texas Disasters: DR4223, 4255,4266,4269,4272 and DR 4332 (Harvey). Supported TWC monitoring and oversight of the State’s CCRF funding while keeping Fraud Waste & Abuse in check
• Assisted Massachusetts’s Emergency Management Agency by providing technical assistance related to PA funding for Covid Relief funds for compliance testing and quality assurance meeting program policy requirements
• Assisted Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA ERAP) with leading escalation team by developing and implementing processes, application processing and procedures to help increase efficiency by putting efforts in performing final reviews while keeping Fraud Waster & Abuse in check. Additional efforts in coordinating with finance team on issues surrounding payment discrepancies and helping ensure the residents impacted by covid to not lose their homes and utilities
• Assisted Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) by providing oversight to the applicants participating in FEMA Assistance Grant Program providing guidance and outreach to applicants for FEMA’s PA and Grant programs surrounding qualification of documentation for PA program.
