• Program Manage State Test Nurse Assistant:
• Educate Nurse Aide Trainee's following the State od Ohio curriculum through, lecture, skills Lab, Clinical setting.
• Responsible for all aspects of program meeting the State requirements, attend all required managements meeting and complete and meet all required deadlines for reports, budgets and all associated management reports as assigned by upper management.
• Taught remotely during beginning of Covid-19 Pandemic for three months.

• House Supervisor responsibilities:
• Make rounds and assess quality of care provided to patients in all inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Intervene when necessary.
• Serve as a resource person for staff, patients, visitors and family.

• Public Health duties include Tuberculosis case manager, Coordinator for Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic. Screening Athens County Public Schools for immunizations, hearing, scoliosis and vision checks. Supervisor nurse for immunization clinic. Elevated lead level investigation and case management nurse which includes education referral and follow up. Senior nurse for reportable diseases to Ohio Department of Health, Educate and refer public to meet their needs and request.
• Coordinator for prevent blindness for Ohio. Screen and make referrals to meet vision needs.
• Coordinator for Shriners children shoes program which provide free shoes and braces for those that meet criteria. A member for the Athens County Emergency Preparedness Team

• Duties included assigning new patient beds. Attend bed huddle two times per shift in order to assist with bed control. Support and mentor all staff as needed. Making rounds to assure patient safety and needs are being met. Admit and discharge patients and make sure discharge needs are in place. Manage crisis situation with critical thinking and effective decision making. Rotate from charge nurse to staff nurse as needed. Oriented new staff members.

• Responsible for assessments and patient education, IV therapy, wound care, monitoring cardiac telemetry, supervision of Care Partners, administration of medication, and discharge planning. Accountable for initiating referrals to physicians, dietitians, social workers, home care agencies, and home care medical equipment companies.

• Delegated and supervised the care of 87 residents in a skilled facility focused on the care of geriatric patients. Trained and evaluated the care delivered by staff members while monitoring the quality of care being delivered to the patients. Demonstrated both knowledge and expertise of state and federal regulations as related to the skilled nursing facilities.

• Supervised clinical operations of a 36-bed unit. Manager responsibilities including education and training of new employees and yearly evaluations. Accountable for continuous quality improvement, writing and revising policies and procedures, coordination of staff scheduling for a staff of 64, and other various administrative functions. Chart audits and reviews of documentation.

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the highest level of quality care for the program. Trained, managed and supervised a staff of 12 employees. Organized and conducted community awareness and education for geriatric and psychiatric needs. Performed a multitude of administrative duties including preparing and attending regular hospital meetings and overseeing quality assurance.

• Responsible for new patient assessments infants to geriatric.Supervise, educate, and participated in the ongoing training of a staff of 17-20 employees. Employee Health Nurse and OSHA educator. Responsible for community awareness and new employee education and training. Discharge patient and make sure safety was in place and needs could be met following discharge from service.
