  • Joined the Real Estate and Facilities team at TCC as Coordinator of Furniture Management. At that time, TCC was comprised of four Campuses. Since then, the College has grown to include two additional physical campuses and most recently, their virtual on-line campus.
  • As a result of this development, Real Estate & Facilities also experienced growth and reorganization. I currently serve as Senior Manager of Interior Design overseeing the Interiors group consisting of four Design team members. The team is responsible for all interior finishes and furnishings for the District’s 6 campuses, totaling roughly 139 buildings and 3.83 M square feet.
  • Manage design professionals and vendors in accordance with District finish and furniture standards for large capital improvement projects.
  • Oversee Interior project management efforts including departmental redesign, relocation and move coordination
  • Work with vendors to develop finish plans, furniture specifications, and material selections required for project design, management and execution
  • Developed and implemented the College's Workspace Environments Principle; an initiative to improve physical spaces at the College on behalf of students, employees and community. The work of this focus team also helped establish the College's desired culture change.

  • Served as Project Manager at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX; one of the nation’s largest public research universities with 12 colleges and schools.
  • Worked in the Office of Facilities Management and Construction, planning and managing moderately sized renovation and interior projects under a $1M threshold.
  • Consult with clients to assess workspace needs and preferences to establish the parameters of the project based on the available budget
  • Develop required design and construction documents, furniture layouts for presentation and project implementation, and coordinate punch walk
  • Select and specify all furnishings and interior finishes based on the design intent for the space and the available budget
  • Ensure timely acquisition of project materials and labor and monitor to keep project on schedule

  • After roughly five years serving in this capacity, the role evolved into a Regional Sales Manager position responsible for overseeing a sales territory which encompassed 6 states and 8 sales organizations.

  • As one of four Interior Designers for the State of Indiana Building Commission, we provided interior planning and design services for various government agencies at the State Office Building Complex.
  • The Indiana Government Center complex encompasses approximately 4.4 million square feet. The entire complex consists of 8 buildings
  • The work included both new construction and renovation of the existing State Office Building.
  • Responsibilities included initial programming, design, furniture/finish specifications, and final installation and punch list generation.
