This role involves meticulous review of prime and subcontractor contracts, verification of insurance documentation, and coordination with legal and project teams to address any discrepancies or high-risk exposures.
  • Procure and maintain all necessary insurance policies for the construction company, including but not limited to general liability, builders’ risk, commercial auto, professional liability, errors and omissions, and surety bonds. Review and negotiate contract insurance requirements, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with project teams, legal counsel, and brokers to identify project-specific risks and secure appropriate coverage. Manage and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for the company and its subcontractors, verifying accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements. Process and administer insurance claims, working closely with adjusters and legal teams to ensure timely resolution.
