Professional Experience: 1991 – present. Staff Nurse (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Level 3). First unit council leader of all four MLH NICUs. Member of the unit council for a 2-year term. Past member of the clinical practice committee. Past member of the retention and recruitment committee, celebrating US/PCT's and Doctors' Day breakfast/lunch. Past volunteer at PAN's golf outings, purse bingo. Worked at a health fair in March 1999, teaching ostomy and chest tube care for infants. Past history of rotating to the Newborn Nursery, where I coordinated the unit, in addition to presenting the Baby Bath Class to parents of newborns. I also served on a committee to look at the staffing and scheduling of the TLH and BMH NICU units, which refined the staffing and traveling policies in 1999. Qualified as a ground transport nurse to support area hospitals in need of Level 3 NICU care. Currently, I coordinate the unit when scheduled. Oversee patient care assignments. Worked occasionally in the home of a pediatric patient. Experienced with a trached toddler on a home ventilator, with CPT and respiratory treatments. (2) Managed a young child with G-tube feedings. I attended the United Cerebral Palsy Unit (CADES) in Swarthmore, PA, with my child.
