• Preparing patients for surgery, conduct interview, sign consents, answering questions and establishing that patients are fully aware why they are having surgery and what to expect afterwards.
• Review documentation as in History and Physical, Lab work, EKG. and Clearance letters from various doctors. Then if warranted, alert team of any abnormalities before procedure.
• Phone patients for upcoming procedures with instructions and arrival times.
• Help in Post Op discharge patients when needed.
• Sterile processing of G.I. scopes when needed.
