Led strategic planning, and coordination efforts of the national defense strategy for Africa.

Managed the training program under the Africa Contingency Operations Training and Assistance Program for Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, and Malawi, participating in peacekeeping missions for the Africa Union and United Nations.

• This training, supported missions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, the Ivory Coast, and the central Africa, Republic.
• Managed a $6 million operational budget.

As military attach, served as representativ for Chief of Naval Operations, Commander, Naval Forces Europe, and Director of Naval Intelligence to host country military in South AFrida, Namibia and Swaziland. cultivated relationships that resulted in the first carrier to the region, Namibia participation in their first Seapower Symposium and significant operational engagements.

Taught leadership to freshmen and juniors.
