ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Although outside of the 10-year reporting window I want to mention that I was a Patient Service technician/phlebotomist. I learned basic medical terminology and the correct procedures for specimen handling and specimen collections and held a Phlebotomy certification for blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections for correctional facilities. Well versed in compliance and safety, and effectively communicated the importance of compliance and safety to other employees.
  • In Germany in 1989 as a volunteer with Red Cross, I volunteered with Champus. I assisted the soldiers in filling out the insurance forms; they were then processed and then sent on to the Main office.
