I have held the position of Ambulance Billing Specialist for a little over 14 years. I have a very strong work ethic. I take pride in the work that I do and always give my all. I work well independently and will always lend a hand to a co worker when asked. I believe working as a team works best. I have strong phone skills, providing exceptional customer relations. I have experience in submitting claims to Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurances, Workers Comp and No Fault. I have followed up with insurance carriers and will advocate for patients to get claims paid correctly. I have knowledge of medical coding and very familiar with ICD 10 codes. I have an excellent attendance history and unless unavoidable, I will always arrive at work when expected. I am organized and keep a neat and clean work space.
