Have mentored RN & NP students in all aspects of critical care and emergency patients. Experience as a ARNP has included Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Cardio-Thoracic surgery and Virtual Medicine for minor problems in Family Practice. I have spent the last 5 years in Emergency Medicine as a RN and the last 7 years as a ARNP in Virtual Medicine. While working as a ARNP, I achieved a reputation for rapidly and accurately treating patients with several medical conditions under stressful situations and decreasing length of stay of both in-patient and ED patients.
Additional Information
As you can see, I worked for Em-Care in several hospitals in Tampa Bay and along the Western coast of Florida to help out where needed. This was to cover other multiple shifts as a ARNP in the ED where there was a need. I recently moved permanently to NC and am working as a RN in the CCU while trying to obtain a position as a ARNP. I'm a FNP, but experience has mostly been ED and cardiac related.
