  • Receive verbal orders from the physician, and transcribe the physician's order sheet.
  • Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment.
  • Must maintain complete confidentiality in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and any other applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations regarding individuals' personal and health information.
