APP Wellbeing

· In collaboration with the MGH/BWH/FH Chief APP Officers, support and manage initiatives to improve the work lives of APPs.

· Provide project management of activities related to the MGH/BWH/FH APP well-being & engagement including, but not limited to, APP week, APP awards and recognition, and APP Leadership Retreats.

· Actively reflect the Chief Advanced Practice Officers and senior leaderships’ position in internal meetings to help drive understanding of views.

· Organization and staffing of monthly on-site feedback & listening lunches for the AMC CAPPOs.

Patient Care and Quality

· Provide project management for quality activities at the AMCs in partnership with the AMC CAPPOs and the AMC and MGB OCMO.

· Support and manage incentive program related policies, procedures, and practices.

· In partnership with the MGH/BWH/FH CAPPOs, liaise with embedded enterprise team members for clinical compliance, risk management, and patient safety, including conduct of safety event evaluations and mitigation, and Joint Commission surveys and other regulatory site visits and inquiries (DPH, BPHC, etc.).

APP Graduate Medical Education

· Collaborate with MGB Student Steering leaders, MGB Talent Acquisition and AMC APP Student Education Managers increasing APP student rotations and student hiring pipeline

APP Medical Affairs

· Project management support and implementation of AMC initiatives related medical professional practice evaluation, including but not limited to Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), focused review of performance for newly requested privileges (FPPE) and re-credentialing and re-privileging process.

· Manage APP-related medical policies across the AMCs in accordance with MGB Medical Policy Committee

· Provide administrative oversight for Advanced Practice Providers, including physician assistants and nurse practitioners

· In partnership with the AMC CAPPOs, actively consider opportunities to grow the abilities, skills, and support of AMC APPs and patients with the respective departments through professional development, enhanced communication vehicles, employee-focused initiatives, high quality patient care and otherwise.

Professionalism Management:

· Support professionalism for the AMC professional staff, serving as a liaison to enterprise professionalism initiatives.

· Manages AMC APP professionalism experience review committee, compiling reports and feedback with AMC Chief APP.

· Interfaces with senior leadership, departments and services at AMCs as needed in a collaborative effort to aid in the strategic culture transformation of the organization.

Other

· Organize and plan for a variety of committee meetings that support this initiative including but not limited to developing meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and presentations.

· Distribute pertinent APP communications, including but not limited to the APP All Points Bulletin and joint Vitals page.

· Collaborate with CAPPOs to define metrics and implement APP Dashboard
