I have been a professional in the food and packaging industry for 40 years. I am retired as of the end of 2023. I love bookkeeping and have always kept my own financial records in pristine condition. My goal in retirement is to work part-time doing something I love for a company/people that I respect and enjoy working with. While my resume reflects a much different type of employment and qualifications, I am not looking to be in a leadership role again. I love spreadsheets and numbers. I want to find a part-time position doing something that, to me, is fun & rewarding but not the stress of a $1 billion sales portfolio.
Directed sales of $1 billion annually and a team of ten people to sell, service and manage large portfolios for major companies in the US & Mexico. Client examples: Amazon, Mondelez, Smithfield Foods.
Developed GP's first commercial excellence training program that was rolled out across the entire Packaging Division.
Oversaw all National Accounts sales for GP's Packaging division - $1 billion annually. Led a team of a twenty sales, analysts and customer service reps.
Sales rep responsible for managing large customer corrugated packaging needs. Grew portfolio from less than $20 million annually over $200 million annually. Managed large CPG customers. Examples: P&G, Sara Lee, Kellogg/Keebler, Unilever
Held several different Purchasing roles, the last of which was corrugated packaging for ConAgra's Hunt-Wesson Foods division. At the time, the annual spend was $40 million.
I volunteer to make & deliver lasagnas several times per month to food-deprived families in the North Fulton area. I volunteer to support various charities through our church - most recently Adopt-A-Family - where we provided Christmas to a family in need.
