• Shared the mission of the Family Justice Center of Georgetown and Horry Counties (FJC) while showcasing my book and answering questions about domestic abuse, available services, and FJC needs.
• Designed and delivered talks to educate, inform, and motivate the public and the business community in Georgetown and Horry counties.
• Spoke about personal life experiences to inspire, motivate, and benefit listeners.

• Specialized in positive, patient piano and guitar instruction for children and adults who identified as gifted, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Williams Syndrome, or highly introverted or sensitive.
• Created a 10-month schedule with flexible, individualized lesson plans to accommodate students' learning challenges and school/work schedules.
• Instructed students using a holistic approach based on healthy psychology.

• Program Manager | Created a church family violence prevention program. Established a representative seat on the Social Ministry Committee. Recruited volunteers, raised funds, and created a transport schedule for clothing donations to Citizens Against Spouse Abuse (CASA) shelter.
• Social Ministry Committee Member | Met monthly with CASA director for current shelter needs. Also met monthly with Social Ministry Committee to exchange information and generate support.

• Speaker | Gave talks to youth confirmands at two Lutheran ELCA churches, and to men's and women's groups.
• Crisis Counselor | Responded to emergency calls from membership and CASA hotline with compassion and understanding. Established rapport with callers through active listening, and used problem-solving skills to de-escalate. Advised callers on available resources, leaving them with information and hope.

• Conducted formal assessments of independent child development centers in Horry County using ABC rating scales.
• Completed 2-3 hour in-person observations, noting training, materials and equipment needs, and safety concerns.
• Compiled reports and assisted centers for improved ratings.
• Offered a full-time, permanent position by the program director at end of contract due to exceptional report writing.

• Requested as substitute music teacher based on excellent referrals and trusted performance.
• Led grade K-5 music classrooms in place of primary music teacher, following lesson plans and instructions for classroom management.
• Made notes and reports for primary music teacher on classroom activities.

• Assessed and trained base child development center caregivers using Air Force training modules. Acted as Assistant Director/Director in their absence.
• Conducted two-hour room observations, completed reports, and scheduled follow-up meetings with caregivers.
• Met individually with caregivers for feedback and training, and conducted group, after-hours, quarterly training.

• Requested by MBAFB union president; one of six Labor-Management Committee members representing civilian workers affected by the pending base closure.
• Attended weekly Labor-Management Committee meetings, exchanged information with other members, and discussed solutions to challenging situations and foreseeable obstacles.
• Spoke to a large group of civilian employees at a base closure meeting. Informed listeners of transitional programs, timelines, and priority-placement job transfers, and answered questions.

• Songwriting Workshop: The Business Side of Songwriting | Created and led the first copyright workshop for songwriters in Myrtle Beach at Swanner's Music. The filled-to-capacity workshop was a success, with lively discussions and questions that continued after the end.
