Mechanical Assembler

  • I log into the computer to see the work order for the day.
  • I then pick parts listed on the order such as headers, cover enclosures, frames, flanges, tubes, gaskets, couplings, and tools I will need in making the ultra-sorb unit.
  • I used a press machine to straighten the headers.
  • After straightening the headers, I have to test it to ensure no leakage.
  • I also test drain coolers with water and air to make sure there's no leakage.
  • After this process, I follow assembly instructions and blueprint to put the component together in assembling the ultra-sorb unit.
  • I make a crate per size of the unit to secure it for weighing and make it ready for shipment.
  • I log into the computer to see the accessories that are supposed to be shipped with the unit and ensure the accessories match the unit.
  • The order is then closed.
  • I maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • I contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • I help different departments and do other duties as assigned.
