I am an experienced emergency medical services professional with 15 years in the field, including 12 years as a paramedic. For the past two years, I have worked part-time as a flight paramedic with Air Evac 48 in Kerrville. For the last five years, I have held a supervisory role, emphasizing teamwork and adaptability to ensure effective emergency response.
In 2023, I was honored to be named EMS Person of the Year for Kerrville Fire. In 2025, I served as the EMS Lieutenant during the floods, collaborating with state officials at the reunification center and EOC. I led the Whole Blood initiative for Kerrville Fire and, in coordination with our Medical Director, implemented new Clinical Operating Guidelines, the Handtevy system, and a Schedule 2 narcotic tracking system. My contributions helped our organization earn the title of EMS Provider of the Year in 2025.
