Knowledge
- Comprehend written materials & communicate verbally
- Understanding of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
- Ability to identify and differentiate basic hardware & fasteners such as nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc.
- Basic shop math and blueprint reading
- Ability to use multi-meter (such as Fluke meter)
- Learn basic Oracle transactions such as close or move job orders, look up parts, move orders, etc.
- Knowledge of working with microprocessors
- Certificate plus 1-3 years' experience OR 3-5 years' relevant electrical and mechanical experience at S&C
Skills
- Learn product function
- Ability to learn and become certified in Hi-pot testing
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues (wiring issues, design issues, mechanism bounce)
Learn to set up test cage for varying voltage ratings and configurations as required
- Learn to set-up and operate Denison press, Spin-o-matic and Arbor press
- Ability to perform safety check of all fault interrupters on test cage
- Perform adjustment of Micro AT on all units
- Learn to use Source Transfer test console
- Ability to use dielectric tester and follow all safety procedures
- Ability to pass wiring certification
Proficiency
- Demonstrates the ability to perform at expected production rates and /or line pace during the proficiency time period
- Causes no (minimal) re-work, DU's, and NMR's. Does not cause a Major Quality Incident
- Causes no safety incidents due to an unsafe act at any time during the Training or Proficiency periods
- Accepts and completes any task requested by leadership, including any task not connected to this work element
Certification Maintenance
- Perform at (minimum); 40 hours every 52'* week.
- Maintain of wiring certification yearly
