Knowledge

• Comprehend written materials & communicate verbally
• Understanding of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
• Ability to identify and differentiate basic hardware & fasteners such as nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc.
• Basic shop math and blueprint reading
• Ability to use multi-meter (such as Fluke meter)
• Learn basic Oracle transactions such as close or move job orders, look up parts, move orders, etc.
• Knowledge of working with microprocessors
• Certificate plus 1-3 years' experience OR 3-5 years' relevant electrical and mechanical experience at S&C

Skills

• Learn product function
• Ability to learn and become certified in Hi-pot testing
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues (wiring issues, design issues, mechanism bounce)
  Learn to set up test cage for varying voltage ratings and configurations as required
• Learn to set-up and operate Denison press, Spin-o-matic and Arbor press
• Ability to perform safety check of all fault interrupters on test cage
• Perform adjustment of Micro AT on all units
• Learn to use Source Transfer test console
• Ability to use dielectric tester and follow all safety procedures
• Ability to pass wiring certification

Proficiency

• Demonstrates the ability to perform at expected production rates and /or line pace during the proficiency time period
• Causes no (minimal) re-work, DU's, and NMR's. Does not cause a Major Quality Incident
• Causes no safety incidents due to an unsafe act at any time during the Training or Proficiency periods
• Accepts and completes any task requested by leadership, including any task not connected to this work element

Certification Maintenance

• Perform at (minimum); 40 hours every 52'* week.
• Maintain of wiring certification yearly
