  • Developed, designed and achieved the total stereo and region-selective efficient synthetic methodology of cyclic disaccharides by “Intra-molecular Glycosylation”, which goals and achievements are the creation and production of difficult glycoside linkages present in natural glycoconjugates that are unachievable by the conventional glycosylation method with important application of transforming these cyclic disaccharides products to polysaccharides for production of glycoconjugates vaccines, glycoconjugates of medicinal relevance. Organometallics in Organic Synthesis

  • Experienced and achieved manipulation of air sensitive compounds, the use of organometallics such as Rhodium, Cobalt, Palladium and Organosilicon for synthesis of various compounds. Use of palladium complex reagents to carry Heck, Suzuki, Stile, Sonogashira cross coupling methatesis and intramolecular cyclisation reactions for creation of Carbon-Carbon bond formation for synthesis of various natural product compounds.
  • Skills of patent examining applications for scientific inventions conducted search of prior art by using multiple scientific and patent search softwares to determine prior art, patentability or non-patentability of Medicinal Chemistry inventions pertaining to Biotech-Pharma.
  • Achieved synthesis and lipido-aminoacids adjuvant to be applied in the combination of adjuvants with a short saccharide or large polysaccharide to construct glyco-amino lipid derivatives.
  • Peptide Chemistry : Elaborated the design, chemical synthesis, and structure-function relationships of peptide-mimetics to mimic β-turn conformation of polypeptides and proteins which can have wide applications to vaccines and drug development.

Natural Product and Asymmetric Synthesis, Use of Palladium Complex in Organic Synthesis

achieved C-C Bond formation reactions, by using the Hecht, Suzuki, Stille, Sonogashira, Coupling Reactions, Intramolecular C-C Bond Formation Reaction and asymmetric and total synthesis of natural products (complex cyclic acetogenins and non-adjacent bis-THF acetogenins) to be tested as pesticides, and fungicides for plant protection.
