- Transformed the world's leading call processing engine (BROADWORKS) from a monolithic system ( 5+ million lines of code) to DEVOPS.
- Instituted operational and performance metrics to visualize system performance and allow rapid identification of faults or hotspots.
- Developed processes to allow rapid deployment of new feature sets all the while maintaining 5 nines system availability. The aforementioned metrics coupled with testing automation and a load graduation process insured early recognition and resolution of defects prior to customer exposure.
- Continued build out of DEVOPS team to further speed new feature deployment. We achieved elite status in all but one of Google's DEVOPS performance scale.

- Managed team of 20+ engineers developing the platform for Santera's media gateway. Due to the nature of this being all new custom hardware, the operating system was a special build. Based on a lessor known kernel we enhanced this kernel to provide the necessary components of a firmware based controller. This included all device interactions, fault reporting, memory management, faultless upgrade etc.
- Transformed the media gateway from a costly behemoth with ATM based signalling to an ethernet based communications platform. Cost reduction of 80% was achieved. This gateway is now a core component of T-Mobiles global network.

- Guided team of 110 engineers in developing a mobile call processing engine and feature set. This engine powered the Alcatel/DSC Communications mobile switching centers for a 3+ Billion dollar Japanese cellular network.
- Worked closely with Motorola who provided the radio gear which was an integral part of the cellular network. Motorola was the primary contractor for the work and Alcatel/DSC shared in the successful deployment to the tune of 250$K a quarter in revenue for a few years during the buildout.
