* Responsible for facilitating installation, maintenance and alterations of all hospital machinery, equipment, alarm and power systems of the entire hospital and related entities.

* Oversees work of others , Assigns tasks and arranges work schedules as needed.

* Leads and directs Plant Manager and Security Manager

* Monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followed.

* Organize and coordinate construction within the hospital and other construction projects as assigned by Administration.

* Ensures compliance of licensure requirements/all governing body regulatory agency requirements and Human Resource and employee development.

* Manages all rental property repair and monetary requirements.

* Participates on the Safety/EOC Committee

* Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, coordinates and/or performs necessary, installation, maintenance and alterations of all hospital machinery, equipment, alarm, and power systems.

* Supervises the inspection, maintenance, and repairs of the two hospital boilers.

* Performs the full range of supervisory responsibilities for maintenance employees including hiring, planning, and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, and conducting corrective action up to and including termination. * Directs and/or diagnoses machinery, equipment or power system malfunctions and determines repair requirements. * Calls for service for repairs beyond the scope of the Plant & Facilities department.

* Coordinates and directs the activities of outside contractors. * When needed, performs minor repair.

* issuing work orders, assigning to others for completion.

* Acts as director in the absence of the Director of Facilities

* Performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, or vehicle servicing.

* Performed service and repair of all HVAC/Refrigeration systems for hospital and rental properties.

* Performed Locksmith duties in all aspects of keying, repairing, etc. for all hospital door hardware.

* knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty.

* performed daily equipment rounds to ensure proper operation and operational parameters.

* completed daily work orders and preventative maintenance as assigned.
