Summary

I am an experienced and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher (with in-house teaching experience) with a passion for teaching and inspiring others. I'm currently enrolled in Term 3 of the Teaching Credential program via CalState Teach of which I will be completing in April 2025. I have been student teaching for the fall 2024 semester with Steven Coutts, 2nd grade teacher at Sunnyslope Elementary in which I teach the PAF program in small group sessions as well as substituting in the meantime. I'm committed to learning about varying educational philosophies and motivated by my appreciation of the human spirit and our innate desire to learn something new every day. I am experienced in following lesson plans and fostering a classroom environment conducive to learning. Bringing dedication, a love of education and the desire to positively impact the lives of students, I am the kind of personality that does not believe in giving up but instead working steadily at something until I reach my desired goal both in the overall lesson plan and each individual student. I am a people person to I believe in being a team player and having as much involvement with my colleagues as necessary. As no one ever stops learning, I believe that there is always room to improve one's self and learn from past errors / mistakes.
