  • Prioritize jobs and requests for new fixtures and repair of existing fixtures. Being responsible for P-Card usage, which includes purchasing materials and parts for projects and fixtures. Provide weekly schedules for the team and Upper Management. Provide updates and timelines on projects and linedowns to team leads and supervisors. Work closely with M.E. and M.E. Techs on fixtures and designs. The ability to think cohesively and logically has been paramount in helping to diffuse tough situations within my department. I strive to maintain healthy relationships with outside vendors. Work with Environmental Safety and Health regarding the Tooling Department. Work closely with Model Shop. Work closely with (and in tandem with other building 9 employees), I have obtained good knowledge of the flow of building 9. This include repairing A-81 (A&B Cells), DV5100, Robot, A-51 Cell, etc. Repairing Hydraulic and Pneumatic fixtures through out the campus. Preparing yearly capital budgets for our department.

Handle all capital projects, including ordering all parts for the mill. Work with contractors, and service and repair all Rolling Stock (including Kumatsu Loaders, Taylor Loaders, Cat Loaders, Hyundai and Hyster Forklifts, Skidsteers, Manlifts and Scissor Lifts, trucks and golf carts). Responsible for turning in daily reports to Superintendent, and attending weekly meetings with upper management. Ran 860 850 Sennebogens, Gantry Cranes, 10 and 18 ton forklifts, Track Mobiles, John Deere Loader, Skid Steers, etc. Held bids in Melt Shop and Yard Department. Worked every department while in Labor Pool. Worked in mobile maintenance welding on grapples and working on Sennebogens and forklifts.
