My four years of working and volunteering have taught me important skills, such as communication with kids, as well as parents, leadership, patience, and adaptability/resilience. Throughout high school, I was a 4.0 student and helped create the school yearbook. I learned how to work individually or in a group, the importance of time management, and how to effectively communicate in a group to ensure the cohesion of our thoughts as a reality. Finally, at UCI, I am learning how to navigate design programs such as SolidWorks and Photoshop to indulge in creativity, and use resources to make your thoughts come to life.
