As the Public Affairs Superintendent, I oversee all aspects of all photographic, video production, graphic design, and journalism for the 183d Wing, from planning to completion. I am also responsible for maintaining the the Wing social media presence and public website, with these finished products.

I shoot Nikon D810 cameras for photos and video. I also use Canon 100C video cameras for dedicated video applications.
All photo/video editing is completed using the most current ADOBE Creative Cloud software.
I lead a team of six members. In my position, I am responsible for training of all members. I coordinate workflow, job assignment, editing, final review, and public release of all information from this office.
As a military photographic specialist in the Illinois Air National Guard, my duties included:

I started my career in the U.S. Air Force in 1990, completing basic military training and technical training in May 1991. For a short time, I worked on B-52 bomber aircraft before trading in my wrench for a camera, and pursuing a career as a military photographer. As a lower ranking airman through first 8 yrs, I shot and processed photos on a daily basis. After joining the Illinois Air National Guard, not only was I photographer, but gradually became progressed into a leadership role. I am currently a Master Sgt and have been fully responsible for the operations og this office since September 2001.
