At Don Oralls Garage I started as shop mechanic where I did a variety of jobs from oil changes, tires, brakes, suspension parts, to eventually moving up to engines, transmissions, and commercial vehicle repairs and roadside service. All in the same time was on call for towing and recovery several nights a week where I run flatbeds medium and heavy duty wreckers. Around 3-4 years now I have been shop manager where I keep employees with work and parts for customers vehicles from scheduling and assistance on doing repairs writing work orders and entering them into computer for billing. I call and search for many of the parts used for repairs in everyday shop work from heavy duty to automotive. While being shop manager I still am on call for tows and recovery and also still covering many road side service calls.
