When i got into project management i felt like i really found my calling. I take a lot of pride in being able to manage the build of a quality house or addition that will bring joy to a family for decades to come. I fully dedicate myself and prioritize my work above everything else and refuse to cut corners or put out a subpar product no matter how much extra time and effort is required of me. I work well under pressure,work well with other team members, and never lose my temper in the field. I try to take every obstacle put in front of me as a learning experience, and am always looking to soak up knowledge and learn from professionals with more experience then me.
Responsibilities:
- Planed, organized, and managed all phases of all stages of new home builds from the clearing of the lot to the receiving the final inspections.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
-Coordinate with BGE to get electric and gas to the house Coordinate with utility contractor on getting water and sewer to the house
-seek out new subcontractors and receive bids from them on upcoming projects
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed
- Manage and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. This is includes managing and scheduling all subcontractors throughout the project.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and regulations. I like to be on site on as much as possible, this usually means spending most of time at whichever site requires the most attention at the time, while popping in at my other projects throughout the day.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain a detailed schedule of each project, including potential future issues i see, as well as changes the customer wants to make so i can take them through the proper change order procedure set in place.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders, including clients, architects, investors and contractors.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices. (have built a solid relationship with many Anne Arundel County Inspectors)
