
As a mechanic my primary objectives are to maintain and repair company equipment to FAA standards of safety and functionality, and to do so in a timely and cost-effective manner. As a mechanic, secondary objectives are to work effectively and safely with all coworkers, support staff and team members. My own personal tertiary objective is to learn how to maintain and repair a range of machinery of all types, whether that be aircraft, automotive, diesel or industrial equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, avionics, and fuel system components. Assist with aircraft inspections, including phase, annual, and major maintenance events.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and airworthiness requirements. Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation in compliance with FAA regulations.
Acquired in-depth knowledge of farm operations, procurement needs, and labor demands. Executed heavy equipment operations to facilitate agricultural tasks efficiently. Serviced and maintained equipment to prolong lifespan and reliability. Administered herbicides and pesticides for effective pest management. Executed tillage duties to optimize soil conditions for crops. Completed masonry and welding projects to enhance farm facilities.
Maintained aircraft to ensure airworthy standards. Documented all maintenance activities performed. Collaborated with team members to complete complex tasks efficiently. Executed high power runs and taxi operations on aircraft.
Apprenticeship requirements included working under guidance of experienced professionals to learn trade best practices and techniques. Acquire foundational experience in Y check, C check, hanger RON and line maintenance.
