With over 13 years of experience, including a significant tenure at Boeing, I can work any area of the plane and have confidence I can paint it without rework. My painting experience spans from commercial jets to corporate models, showcasing my skill in applying various paints and primers to achieve a factory-new finish. Known for my passion for aircraft aesthetics and adherence to AS9100 standards, I bring a good, want to be here attitude. As mentioned i really enjoy painting planes. Please take this into consideration as I know I can be a valuable asset to your team. Thanks, Patrick
At Boeing I am responsible for taking the Aircraft from TPC, cleaning this protective coating off, prepping the aluminum for primer, applying primer and top coat. Monitoring the A/C during curing and then applying the customer livery. That also includes all maintenance and warning stencils. When finished I am responsible for driving the customer around and working any discrepancies they find. We use base coat/ clear coat and also mono coat, or single stage type 8 and 9 paint. I work the 737.
At Dassault I was responsible for working various models of Dassault Falcon. This was a repair station so all the work was strip and repaint jobs. I enjoyed the work a lot. Along with the repaints I also did MRO and SRC work. That included blends over rework areas, parts painting, fixing paint areas after mechanics took a panel off and buffing/polishing areas of concern.
CAPS was my entry into aviation. It was an overflow company for Boeing and we painted the 777. It was the same process I do now on the 737 line. I worked up from a spotter to a senior painter. I traveled to other sites to train the painters 2 times while working there.
