Patrick Wilcox

From July 2022 to May of 2023 worked as a Registered nurse on 4D at Arnot Ogden Medical Center which is a medical surgical unit where I cared for a wide range of patients including: Post operative patients, Neurological and orthopedic patients as well as general medicine patients.

From May 2023 until present I work as a registered nurse at St. Josephs hospital Behavioral Science Unit where I care for patients who are receiving treatment for mental health conditions. Throughout my time I have mainly acted as the charge nurse of the unit which consists of: Assigning staff roles and responsibilities for the shift, Communicating with members of an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best quality care, Completing documentation on any incidents that occur on the unit and much more

Throughout my nursing career I have utilized and learned many skills including:

During this position I was responsible for screening hospital employees and patients for any symptoms of COVID-19 as they entered the building. I was also responsible for transporting patients around the hospital at times
