Established a brand new, successful freight brokerage (3PL) from the ground floor up, achieving $6.2M in Revenue within the first 12 months. Worked alongside 90+ company owned assets (OTR full truckload dry van & reefer): trailer interchange, drop trailer programs and dedicated hauls.

  • Grew the organization from 0 to 14 employees, developed company sales platform and sourcing models, strategy and development, customer and carrier sales protocol, commission plans, recruiting, sales goals (KPIs) and SOPs for operations, accounting, collections, compliance, claims, human resources, payroll, benefits, etc.
  • Onboarded over 5,000 carriers. Worked intimately with carriers and created a gold standard proprietary vetting and onboarding processes that resulted in 100% load resolution, and a 97 credit score, established a 16 DTP for 2 plus years with over 10k loads with only 2 properly processed claims.
  • Responsible for overseeing all RFPs (Truckload, LTL, Partial, Dry, Reefer, Flatbed, Freight Forwarder).
  • Vetted and onboarded a new TMS and championed an API Universal Integration between Triumph Financial Services and Salesforce Revenova to bring data transparency, reduce redundancies and ensure a more efficient user experience.

  • July 2020 to year end, year-over-year: increased revenue by $4.3M, increased gross profits $705k, increase total load count 1,596 with a 22.7% average margin.
  • Worked daily with 13 outside salespersons in quoting (RFP), evaluating market feasibility, coverage and freight forecasting. Responsible for daily updates to customer contacts on all freight related topics and service levels.
  • Identified department shortfalls and realigned employee roles; established a Pricing Director and LTL/Partial Vetting Specialist. Established a new carrier vetting process and compliance protocol to limit legal exposure. Initiated and developed a new, two-week onboarding process for new employees of Truckload Brokerage.
