The TES (Plasma) Materials Handler is responsible for both pre and post-thermal spray operations. Responsibilities also include consumable materials inventory management and completing Plasma shipping and receiving operations.
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, report damaged items, record shortages and report them to the supervisor or manager.
Clean and mask parts pre-spray, in accordance with the production cells’ work instructions.
De-mask, clean and perform touch-ups of parts post-spray, in accordance with the production cells’ work instructions.
Scan parts into the production ERP system after each completed operation.
Monitor inventory levels of consumable production material and proactively communicate inventory requirements to thermal spray supervisor.
Prepare and examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet all customer specifications.
Document NCR’s in accordance with the production cells’ work instructions and TES Quality Management System.
Verify barcode label data on parts, part slips and all other production documentation that is generated throughout the production process to ensure accuracy of data and part traceability.
Able to access, understand and adhere to company policies, procedures and work instructions that apply to this role.
Perform other duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivilent
A minimum of 6-months of work experience in
manufacturing, ability to work effectively and
efficiently on a team under minimal supervision.
Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word,
Excel and Epicor.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and
organization skills, attention to detail and follow
through.
Must be able to lift a minimum of seventy pounds in
a safe manner and request assistance when needed.
Must have fine motor control for detailed manual work.
Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
while performing duties.
