  • Operate EV's range of Downhole Camera and Logging Equipment to meet customer's requirements. Equipment deployment on Wireline, Slickline or Drill-pipe.
  • Operate EV's new Pipeline Camera technology in the midstream oil & gas market.
  • Compile post-job report detailing operations and including relevant photo or log data gathered, to be passed onto client.
  • Provide Ad-hoc cover for UK, Europe and West Africa region, in both offshore and onshore operations.
  • Assist in workshop duties when required, performing preventative maintenance and repairs, and readying kit for operation.

  • Handle and perform repairs on PCB electronics.

  • Assemble and prepare kit for job load-out's. Deliver to clients using the company vehicle.
  • Provide support in field operations when required in a Junior Field Engineer capacity.

  • Performed preventative maintenance on downhole tools as an employee of Baker Hughes wireline product line. Specialised in the Seismic department.
  • Completed in-house training courses in Basic Soldering, Basic Hand Tool Use and use of Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
  • Worked for a three-month period helping to prepare and load perforating guns at a Baker Hughes ballistics site.
  • Gained the relevant competencies on wireline tools and was promoted to AMO Technician Grade II
