Senior Manager, Facilities and Engineering

As Senior Manager of F&E I picked up projects that included cleanroom

reconstruction process gasses and cleanroom design to meet EU

regulation, these efforts led to completion of GMP readiness. I also

revamped the maintenance program to ensure compliance and equipment reliability achieving a KPI of >95% completion on time.

As Senior Manager of F&E I helped develop a paper-based change management program and progressed the program to a 99.5% on time completion of all PM/CALs with a 100% up time for production. On top of managing day-to-day operations, I was also tasked to manage a Capex project for QC lab expansion and GMP Warehouse.

As Facilities Manager I was responsible for managing eight direct reports and greatly improved their technical knowledge to assist them with their daily responsibilities. I also managed quality and compliance related items associated with the department including internal and external audits. Through mentorship and guidance, I improved the departments KPIs, customer service and much more.


As Construction/Project Manager I utilized my experience from my previous role, which initially advanced me into the position, to assist in BOD for a new Pilot Plant and saw it through to completion. The success of that project led to a larger project to upgrade the sites utility infrastructure that was well beyond its life cycle. This consisted of a BOD that led to the construction of all new HVAC equipment, two new air handlers for our clean suites and a waste kill and treatment skid.


As the Facilities Supervisor I played a key role in and/or ran various projects which include Facility start-up commissioning and qualification, Manual Fill suite construction and qualification, Automated Fill suite construction and qualification as well as process utilities to support the manufacturing suites. I also oversaw and ran the maintenance program from paper based to CMMS integration utilizing Blue Mountain. I quickly became the sites SME for all the utility infrastructure, troubleshooting, SOP development and audit responses. All the while training and promoting growth within the Facilities Departments personnel.

As a Facilities Master Mechanic I Maintained and operated all utility systems such as purified water, process and instrument air compressors, CIP systems, pure steam generators, WFI stills, Wastewater treatment, Plant Steam Boilers, HVAC and much more. Also developed SOPs for operation and maintenance on various equipment. Extra duties that I was selected for was becoming the departments representative for the HSE council and assisted in developing site safety guidelines and procedures.

  • After graduating from “Naval Training Command” in Great Lakes, IL with distinguished honors as Machinist Mate, I was assigned to the USS Enterprise as a “Propulsion Plant Operator”. This consisted of qualifying to operate various equipment within the ships machinery rooms which included nuclear reactors, Steam Plant, Steam turbines, Distilling Units and more. I quickly advanced in qualifications and was selected to become one of the few to train and qualify others in the department.
