Manage an operating budget of $8 million agencywide
Work closely with Executive Director/ Associate Director and executive staff daily
Maintain relationships with funding sources by participating in monthly/ quarterly zoom meetings
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day operations of the Office of Financial Management
Supervise financial staff, inclusive of Assistant Comptroller, Senior Staff Accountant, Staff Accountant, Payroll/HR Assistant, and IDA Manager
Monitor and ensure staff adheres to the procedures set forth in the Accounting and Procedures Manual
Maintain and update CCCOEO Accounting and Procedures Manual
Create budget and maintain Property Maintenance and Management account of CCCOEO properties: $1.2mil/annual and Sheridan Apartments $1.1mil/annual
Create/ Amend/ Manage budgets for all DCA grants of $5 million agencywide
Create/ Amend/ Manage budgets for IDA's DCA and county grants
Monitor and review purchase requisitions
Sign all checks
Process/ approve all ACH payments
Direct/ Assist/ Prepare and occasionally submit financial reports that are required by the grantors
Prepare close-out journal entries
Approve all journal entries
Review and approve bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly analysis financial report for Board of Directors and Executive staff
Coordinate and direct monthly Finance Committee meeting with CCCOEO Board Treasurer
Presentation of Financial analysis to Board of Directors monthly/ quarterly
Preparation of yearly comprehensive expenditures/ grant revenue spreadsheet for the agency single audit
Work directly with Independent Auditor to prepare for the yearly audit
Responsible for clean audits with no findings/ low-risk status PYE 02/28/21, 02/28/22, 02/28/23, and 02/29/24
Prepare and submit CCCOEO agency 990
Oversight all IT of administrative offices inclusive of telephone (VOI), server/laptops, security system/cameras and copiers
Liaison with banking institutions
Monitor/ Maintain draw-down and payment of CCCOEO Line of Credit: $500,000.00
Perform accounting functions and administrative duties as necessary
