I was responsible for ordering inks and other supplies needed to print any job as well as make the plates for jobs on a direct to plate operation. I also had to keep track of inventory of different types or sizes of envelopes and flat sheet paper to be used on future projects

• Assisted with the installation, maintenance, and repair of printing presses.
• Monitored pressroom operations to ensure quality standards were met.
• Set up and operated sheet-fed presses while adhering to safety regulations.
• Performed daily inspections of all press equipment in order to identify potential problems or malfunctions.

Trained on Solna Newsking press to produce several editions of daily or biweekly newspapers for Salem and Paoli Indiana newspapers. Achieved duty of head press operator after first year and continued until I departed for different positions closer to my home
