Used and expanded on knowledge learned in university to help create high quality math models for General Motors Global Design
Worked alongside other designers to fully integrate and develop high quality math models for an upcoming General Motors product
Worked on varying types of parts with high levels of detail and creative solutions
Noticed a fellow co-worker was under a time constraint and un-able to work on a part they were responsible for, was able to seamlessly transition to work on the parts and deliver final designs in short timeframe
Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility
Aided a co-worker in developing parts and getting conversations started to ensure that all best practices and design elements were met
This was achieved by communicating with all necessary parties once it was determined that the parts where going to require a significant amount of attention to incorporate lessons learned on previous math models
Worked on several Engineering Work Orders that involve coming up with a unique solution to help achieve a goal while still meeting vehicle timing and cost ratios
Using skills learned in university was able to calculate an approximate maximum deflection of a component within a part to help aid in development of a critical area, that was later verified by FEA
Identified several different methods of creating part to part attachment schemes to help ensure a proper part integration for a difficult tooling area
Learned how to create User Defined Features to help create a standard parts library for commonly used features
Used the knowledge of User Defined Features to help create a UDF for the Part-to-Part Attachment Strategy for a High-Volume Accessory Product
Created simulations to help understand loading of a part to the vehicle to help comprehend the conditions a critical clip would undergo while being installed on a vehicle
Commonly answered questions on how to properly execute different strategies or fixes for things ranging from NX, Team Center, Product Template Studio, Excel, Windows
