  • I was primarily responsible for general and preventative maintenance on all instrumentation and control systems in an Autoclave Polyethylene unit
  • I have experience in all areas of the plant, including our Ethylene cracking units, NAO/PAO units, Loop Polyethylene unit, Dense Phase Polyethylene units
  • My expertise was utilized in a multitude of ways during day-to-day facility activities all the way from calibrations of all types of industrial instrumentation, PLC troubleshooting with occasional work on analyzer sample systems and ABB/Foxboro DCS systems
  • During my employment we had multiple planned shutdowns at the plant and I was heavily involved in vibration systems on turbines and compressors throughout the facility
  • Changed out outdated vibration systems with new Prognost Silver and Bently Nevada 3500 systems from the hardware all the way to the logic controlling machinery alarms/shutdowns
  • Was heavily involved in installation/commissioning of state-of-the-art Yokagawa tunable diode laser (TDLS) analyzers on our ethylene cracking furnaces which detect/measure CO and flammable gas build-ups inside the firebox of furnaces
  • Acted as the SME and contract supervisor of new melt index/CMR machines on 6 extruders in my unit
  • My involvement was from day 1 of design/approval all the way through FAT to installation and commissioning of the machines once they arrived at our facility
  • Commissioned new/upgraded extrusion valve for our autoclave process reactors – culmination of 5+ years of design and trials
  • I oversaw work on vibration systems on our large steam turbines in the Ethylene cracking unit during large outages
  • Was certified to work up as a supervisor in the facility and did so in every unit of the plant at different times during my employment
