Physician Practice Operations Director assigned primary care and specialty practices. Currently responsible for two primary care clinics,12 surgical/specialty clinics in the Tulsa Metro area and surrounding area, interim director in Bartlesville overseeing 5 specialty clinics and overseeing the anesthesia department for St. John’s main campus. Strong ability to interpret financial and operational data for practice management. Excellent interpersonal skills for independent communication. Familiar with clinical workflows and electronic medical record systems. Assesses capital needs in collaboration with physicians, staff, and senior management, and prepares the necessary justifications and presentation materials to secure approval for expenditures. Serves as a primary point of contact, helping providers and office staff understand and comply with compliance regulations, quality metrics, value-based care models, and other initiatives within Ascension St. John Medical Center and Ascension Medical Group.

• As a member of the senior executive team I am responsible for the development and utilization of Care Management programs for our Medicare and Commercial insured membership
• We use Milliman Care Guidelines to assist with Medical Criteria and Case Management
• According to their geographic summary, 'Well Managed' health plans should keep Admits per I 000 to 55.4
• We as a health plan are able to manage our admits at 51.8 per 1000
• In this position I developed, implemented and assessed the Medical and Quality review in conjunction with the Medical Director and Case Managers
• In addition, I oversee the Quality Department, NCQA accreditation, and Pharmacy team
• NCQA first time application in 2013 received 95 out of I00 possible points on initial submission
• I head up the Complex Case Management Program, Disease Management and utilization management programs
• Additionally, I oversee our delegated behavioral functions with MHNet

• As the Administrative Director of Critical Care I had the fiscal and operational responsibility and accountability for standards of care and service within the Medical ICU, Burn Center ICU, Cardiovascular ICU and the Emergency Department
• I provided leadership for improving patient care, planning, staff performance, system improvements, and other programs that support the strategic and operational goals of Ardent Health Services
• I participated in developing and implementing organizational goals, priorities, and strategies which included working with other disciplines and groups to provide the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction across the system
• I was also responsible for the hiring, coaching and developing of leadership within the Critical Care division
• I also developed implemented the Rapid Response Team
• And successfully reduced contracted nursing labor from 36 traveling nurses to 4 traveler nurses within 1 year with staff retention the following year

• I was responsible for recruiting, hiring, and placement of all clinical staff and ensuring all service lines were fully operational before the go live date for the new facility (November 2008)
• Additionally, I was intricately involved in the design of nursing units, identification, selection and placement of all related furniture, equipment and the development of all relevant policies and procedures
• I was also responsible for the operational, financial, clinical, medical staff identification, recruitment and personnel activities of all clinical services
• Direction of nursing services for the facility and worked collaboratively with other care providers to meet patient care needs
• As a member of the executive team, I participated in the development of and implementation of programs and service lines
• Establish the vision and provide leadership in the delivery of exemplary patient care and customer satisfaction
• As a result we received the honor of winning 5 Health Stream Awards for customer service excellence, which was the first recognition for Ardent Health Services ever
