-Manages the parts department ensuring efficient operations and profitability through effective inventory control.

Inventory/Ordering:
-Checks in and compares delivered goods against invoice to
ensure accuracy.
-Distributes incoming supplies to the correct department,
to maintain optimal service levels.
-Manages files and records of materials, prices, inventories
and deliveries.
-Establishes, builds and maintains relationships with all
key suppliers.
-Coordinates with vendors to forecast supply/ delivery
issues, sourcing of new products and introduction of
substitute items.
-Interacts with suppliers to rectify any damaged or
missing goods credits on a weekly basis to ensure a
zero reconciliation balance.
-Administers profitable purchasing strategies to maintain
a strict COGS percentage and optimize savings.
-Replenishes back stock through proper buying procedures
to ensure availability of goods without compromising
service needs and controlling waste and loss of product.
-Oversees a high dollar back stock using weekly physical
counts and organized record keeping.
Management:
-Responsible for the day to day operations by setting
priorities and expectations that align with company
standards.
-Develops a management team and staff through daily
communication, mentoring and coaching.
-Administers the orientation and training of new staff,
resolves issues and conflicts and conducts proper
discipline when necessary.
-Ability to anticipate problems, find effective solutions
and act upon them rather than waiting until the situation
demands action.
