Music
In addition to classroom teaching I have been a professional/semi-professional musician for over 35 years. At school I've worked closely with my school theater departments to help with technical sound and music for theatrical productions. I've also given guitar lessons for decades. I still play in a very successful band which has really helped me to build connections with many of my students. I love music, theater, sound design, and other technical programs within performing arts. I would love to find a position where I could also work in this area.
Additional Information
I am a father of 3 children and a grandparent to two. I love working with teenagers especially. It keeps me young! I also love to travel and surf when I'm able to get to the coast.
