Active full time paramedic serving the emergency operational needs and 911 requests for Beale Air Force Base, under the direction of contract agency and Beale Air Force Bases' 9th medical group. Delivered advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), basic life support (BLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) under pressure. Developed and maintained rapport with active duty Air Force coworkers and local hospital staff to facilitate efficient patient care. Responding to daily emergencies and working alongside active duty firemen and EMTs. Adapted treatment plans quickly and effectively based on changing patient conditions and reactions.

EMS Operations Manager for Western Nevada County. Operational oversight for all emergency services including 911 services under our EOA and all ground ambulance service requests. Direct oversight of over 50 department employees and two supervisors. Successfully directed positive departmental changes involving department consistency amonghst general staff, financial solvency and improved clinical documentation. Crises management during a county wide state of disaster involving inclement weather and hospital evacuation threat. Oversaw contract negotiations with local LEMSA, Nevada County and Sierra Nevada Hospital.

Operational supervision over emergency medical services (EMS) to Western Nevada County and the overall operations of the ambulance department with over 50 paramedics and EMT's. Consistently engaged in establishing positive and effective communication among staff, various hospital departments, hospital leadership and allied agencies. Actively managing department schedule and bid selection process in accordance with CBA guidelines and LEMSA EOA. Oversight of relief supervisors and lead medic training and development. Oversight of employee hiring, corrective action and discipline. Recent completion of Just Culture training. Co-lead annual employee reviews with director for 2022. Contract management for special events. Assuring departmental competency and compliance to all regulatory, accreditation and hospital standards of care. Daily oversight with CQI with PCR submissions and departmental billing with batch entry. Actively redesigned FTO process and new employee departmental orientation.

Interim Supervisor for 4 months during department restructuring and reorganization under new direction. Successfully implemented several large departmental operational changes to include a new scheduling platform, FTO training and new employee departmental orientation and training. Provided leadership through local pandemic surge, emergency strike team deployments and significant cultural change from operational improvements.

Pre-hospital care team leader working as a paramedic. Paramedic preceptor to paramedic students in their final stages of training. Responded to dispatched 911 emergency assignments quickly and safely rendering ALS care as provided by state law. Rendered care including ALS assessments and interventions. Promoted team-building efforts when working with dispatch center, external public safety agencies and other health care providers. Demonstrated high standards of performance, including teamwork, communication and compassion. Successfully trained over 40 paramedic students through their field internship with four different paramedic programs.

Lead paramedic for ambulance department for over 4 years. A union position that tangibly functioned as an entry level management position. Coordinated daily activities of shift operations ensuring operational readiness for line staff. Organized ongoing training with shift personnel. Assisted with scheduling and additional staffing as needed. Participated in quality control process. Responsibility for orientation and training of new employee's and providing input to manager regarding employee evaluations. Position involved collaboration and communication with other agencies regarding operational issues. Performed all other assigned duties of a paramedic team leader.

Paramedic/Firefighter. Standard firefighter-1 training with fire academy. Primary job duties included structure and wild land firefighting, rendering ALS service with transport.

Skills proctor for EMT-Basic class. Teaching topics included airway management, CPR, trauma support, patient assessment and general EMT skills.

Marketing and promotion for several book titles, extensive speech/presentation analysis with author, primary coordinator for speaking and promotional events including all public presentations to universities, businesses and church congregations. Successfully coordinated event presentations for Harvard Graduate School of Business and University of Chicago Graduate School among other organizations.

Operational management, employee training, marketing accounts, rental contracts, insurance sales, accounts receivable. Received employee of the month award for 5 straight months in the Santa Cruz County coastal region. Highest insurance sales for the entire Bay Area Region for 3 continuous months.
