Summary

I leverage my 10+ hears of administrative experience and my 6+ years of Human Resources and Labor Relations Management, in addition to my Masters of Public Administration degree to enhance the performance and satisfaction of various work forces. I designed and implemented customized human resources strategies, performance measurement and management plans in addition to succession planing. As the former Labor Relations Manager at City of Albany, New York General Services, I utilized my knowledge and experience to aid in the performance and satisfaction of the municipal workforce. I counseled the senior leadership on internal policy, procedure, process improvement, contract interpretation, develop employee retention, recruitment, professional development programs that reduce overtime hours and increase productivity. My efforts yielded an increase in employee accountability by 466% and an increase in workforce retention by 95%. I also participated in collective bargaining negotiations with four separate unions, ensuring fair and mutually beneficial outcomes for the city and its employees. Prior to joining the city, I honed my investigative and safety assessment skills as an investigator for child protective services and labor management and human resources management skills as the Director of Labor Relations and Human Resources for a constructions company. In addition, I worked as a consultant for non-profit organization, where I produced a performance measurement and management plan for a neighborhood revitalization program geared towards program design, improvements, and organizational change structures for all areas of the revitalization efforts in an effort to best utilize a 5 million dollar grant.
